Colombia hold on for draw despite red card
Colombia held on for a 0-0 draw against Uruguay in the semi-finals of the Copa America on Tuesday night. Maxi Araujo had a great chance to win it for Uruguay in the first half, but Munoz made a great recovery to step in front and block his shot.
Colombia were reduced to 10 men in the second half when Daniel Muñoz was sent off for a second yellow card. However, they defended resolutely and managed to see out the game to reach the final.
It is the first time in 23 years that Colombia have reached the final of the Copa America. They will now face either Argentina or Brazil in the final on Saturday.
